the nsp stars give back :-)

since yesterday, the office smells like a supermarket :-D it's not that bad... combination ng detergent (conf rm f) at food (conf rm d and e) hehe... i consider it more of a smell... of charity... of generosity... of unity :-)

it was nice to be part of a company that amidst the trying times (recession galore), it can still take part on a mission to help those in need... kahit na ba ung iba kong officemates ay nasalanta din nung bagyo... nakuha pa rin nila magcontribute at tumulong kahit papano :-)

from toiletries to food items, n$p manila peeps re-packed grocery items for the ondoy victims. we have accumulated around 100K php in cash, a contribution from our main office in cebu and our branch, and bought grocery items, sacks of rice and medicines. it was a nice thing to do for our kababayans... and it was nice to see n$p peeps rendering an hour or two (Others sa dts :p) just to help out. i'm glad most of my groupmates are generous... (o baka kulang ung task na inassign ko sa kanila...hmmm... hehehe joke lang :p)

nakakatuwa lang din ung sistema ng pagr-repack...sa mga toiletries... from the lounge, may taga-bukas ng plastic, then nakaputol ng sabong bareta, taga-lagay ng shampoo and body soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, taga-pass papunta sa conf rm f, then may quality control kung tama ba ung count ng items na... then sa food items from conf rm d papunta sa f... bread, noodles, canned goods.. then pagkikilo ng rice... quality control. around 300++ bags were packed and donated to the hq of relief operations in global city.

sayang, wasn't able to take some pictures... pero masaya lang din makita na nag-enjoy ung mga tao sa pagtulong :-)

i'm looking forward to oct 10... it's our Make a Difference Day (MDD)... once again, we'll have the opportunity to help out those in need, especially ung mga nasiraan ng bahay dahil sa baha :-)
