i got the gachapon from an IT exhibit, it was actually a freebie from NEC which originally contained a 512mb miniSD card (not bad again, huh?! hehehe) it's not the usual gachapon from anime shops, it's 3 times bigger in size. (of course, the gachapon machine is also bigger, like a giant gumball machine) then i noticed it has a slot for coins, so i thought why not use it as a coinbank wehehe... (but then again, maybe it really is a coinbank.. or a coinball? hmm...) whenever i put a hyaku en, i always choose the shiny one, for OC-ness sake :-P if ever i'm short of hyaku en, i list it in my whiteboard to remind me that i missed putting in a hyaku en to my gachapon... (i sometimes use a money exchanger in arcade shops just to exhange my bills to hyaku en coins :-P) it became a habit to me, every night i prepare the hyaku en on top of the tv, then in the morning i put it in the gachapon. seeing it getting filled up each day gives me a sense of hope, of fulfillment... one hyaku en to start a new day in japan...
anyway... happy 1 year and 3 months to me and nihon... 9 months to go!!! 200++ hyaku ens more... ^_^
