My Proposal Story

I'm not good at stories.. waaahhh... so here it goes...

We planned on going to Boracay to celebrate our 2nd year anniversary way before. And since (I think) I'm very good at reading other people's minds, I suspected that he will propose when we get there. *yeah girls are assuming* :-P So I just acted cool and pretended innocent so as not to spoil his planned surprise if there's any. :-D After checking in our stuff upon arrival, we changed into our beach outfits and immediately went out to stroll on the shore, see sights, swim some (siya lang), draw a big heart and write mushy words on the sand(ako lang, hehe), take LOTS of pictures, and the best of all watch a romantic sunset together. It was a tiring day so after dinner we went to sleep right away. The next day, we were set for some adventure. We went island-hopping and since I couldn't swim, most of the time I would stay on the boat or just sit on the stairs of the boat low enough to dip my head on water and see the corals and feed fishes. :-S This adventure took almost the entire day so we headed back to the Inn to rest for a while and he said we'll have a special dinner.. *cling cling cling*... He's going to propose!!! He's going to propose!!! I was so sure then that he was going to propose that night. So I made sure I wore my best beach dress that night and took a long time in front of the mirror to make paganda while on the other hand he wore regular clothes like he normally would.. :-S While we were walking around to choose a nice restaurant, I caught a waiter from the restaurant smile at him so I said to myself "Aha! He made arrangements at this place!!" I just kept my happiness to myself. We ended up dining at a different resto and the entire time I was waiting, nothing happened. When we were walking back to the inn, I was going desperate already but I still managed to keep my hopes alive by thinking he might be waiting for the eve of our anniversary during the exact time when I said yes to him for the first time. Then the time came and we celebrated with a bang (a.k.a may party poppers for props.. hehehe..) and we prayed to thank God for our 2 wonderful years together and then we were sleepy and there's still no proposal.. This time I already lost hope because we already started to pack up our things ready to go home the next day. I just thought to my self I will just spoil the fun if I'll be sad that there's no proposal. So I chose to be happy and totally forgot about the proposal thing. :-) Then the next day came and we were rushing to do the last hirit of our trip because we were leaving that afternoon. We opted to do the reefwalking wherein you can actually walk 15m underwater on the seafloor for 30mins and see corals up close and feed fishes. For a non-swimmer like me, I really enjoyed this a lot because being underwater is a whole new experience for me. When 30 mins had passed and the diver was signalling for us to go up, he disappeared from my sight so I just enjoyed some more.. After that he reappeared again, held my hands and then showed me a shell container...opened it and showed me a ring... :-O.. and then he knelt before me... waaaahhh.... He's proposing!!! He's proposing!!! Finally he is!!! I was caught off guard that time and was so nervous but at the same time I was really happy!!!!! Since we were underwater with an oxygen mask a la buzz lightyear on, we couldn't talk so I just read whatever he was saying from his lips. But at that time I couldn't understand it at all.. Nevertheless, I just said YES to whatever the question was.. :-D I just knew that I was getting officially enganged.. :-D Weeee!!! I'm engaged, I'm engaged!!! :-D Haha.. too late to share my excitement.. :-)
